Generation
Being one of pioneers in the Power Sector of Bangladesh, VTL developed, arranged finance and contracted the first Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) at Ashuganj Power Station Company Limited under the Export Credit Finance Scheme. VTL is fully capable of Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Inspection, Supply, Installation, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of large-scale power plant:
- Secured 225MW CCPP Contract on Design, Build, Finance, Operate, Transfer (DBFOT) method with Korean corporations Hyundai and Daewoo
- Secured and carried out engineering work for Ghorasal 3rd Unit (210 MW) after Re-Powering with installation of Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) and Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) with GE Power & China National Machinery
- Secured and carried out engineering work for Ghorasal 300 – 450 MW Gas Based CCPP with NTIC & CMC Consortium


Transmission
Vantage Technologies was the first company in Bangladesh to instill trust within a newly formed Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB). In association with RPG India, Vantage secured the contract for the first power transmission line under PGCB: Meghnaghat – Rampura 230kV DCTL (45 km) in 2003.
Since then, VTL has secured a number of critical high voltage (HV) transmission line and substation contracts and enjoys a long standing relationship with PGCB. Our focus is on:
- HV Transmission Lines
- HV Substations
- Voltage Levels: 132 kV, 230 kV, 400 kV
Distribution
VTL works with Power Distribution companies in all regions of Bangladesh to help the Government reach its goal of 100% electricity access to all areas of the country. The work it focuses on:
- LV Substations
- Underground Cable Line
- Voltage Levels: 33 kV, 11 kV


Energy
Vantage had secured work for landmark Ashuganj- Bakhrabad Gas Pipe Line Project with McConnel-Dowell for Gas Transmission Co. Ltd. in 1997. Since then VTL has the experience and technical team to target projects that include:
- Gas pipelines
- Regulating and metering stations
- Gas Dehydration plant
Renewable Energy
As Bangladesh is projected to utilise 10% of its energy from renewable sources, VTL has developed design, engineering, and construction capabilities for:
- Solar Plants/ Parks
- Floating Solar Plants
- Capacity level: Up to 50 MW
